You Spoke. We Listened.

Today we’re pleased to introduce some new design improvements and system capabilities in our platform.  As you saw last month, we continue to listen to your feedback and to focus on your top requested enhancements that make your BitLendingClub experience even better.

New Tipping Design

Since there have been numerous complaints about the tipped loans, we decided to come up with an alternative design.  We hope you will find the new style much more simple, unobtrusive and less distracting.

The entire idea will remain just the same – on the home page the first three listings are the ones with the largest tipping amount. The rest five loans are still sorted by votes. Once you click on a tipping icon you are able to review the tips the loan collected.

QR Code deposit address

With the integration of QR Code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) deposit address we would like to offer you an easy way to add some funds to your BitLendingClub account using your phone’s camera, saving you from typing lengthy addresses into your mobile browser. To make use of the new feature, you need to go to the dashboard of your account and click on the “Add funds” button.

Then a field with a QR code will show up.  In order to proceed you’ll need to install an app on your mobile device that can read QR codes. Get your phone and open the app you have downloaded. Do your best to steady your hand while the QR code is centered on the screen. As soon as you scan the code your bitcoin address will appear on your phone screen.

Note: You still have the ability to send funds in the old way, typing the provided bitcoin address by yourself.

Don’t forget to visit the BitLendingClub Community if you have any questions. And as always, find us on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest updates and share your thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you at as well!
